Let's face it, we'll come to this list eventually. If it's not about heartbreaks, it'll be about anything else that you could possibly think of.

Let's start.

Just a head's up, this list is not in any way is in any order.

1) Stone Cold by Demi Lovato

As much as you want to deny it, this song, is just so heartfelt, in one second, you're on the floor, crying your heart out, because as much as you want to be with him, you know it's just not possible. You feel worthless, you feel like everything is drowning you, but you just want him to be happy. Even if happy is not you.

Yep, Demi. Yep, I totally got you.

You gotta be your own shades of gold though when someone only thinks of you as his amber.

2) All In My Head by Tori Kelly

I think we've all been through flirtationship and sometimes flirtationship doesn't get to the next phase, which is relationship. This song is about that. It's about flirtationship that has gone too deep, and you can't really get yourself out of the feeling of being cheated on, when you're not even in the relationship at the first place. This song is about wanting to know the truth, what happened along the way that things didn't happen according to plan. This song is about wanting to know your worth, or the worth of his words, or his smile that you thought was only meant for you.

Bad news (or maybe it's good, I've no idea), smiles can be duplicated. No matter how sweet it is.

3) I Belong To Me by Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson sings, I don't need somebody to complete me, I complete myself.

This song is about someone who needs to get out of a relationship because that person thinks the relationship is defining herself. And that should never be the case. When you're in a relationship, you gotta be you. Just the better version of you, because that person is gonna treat you right, and be very truthful to you.

So, girls, you're one, not half of two. Don't let someone else define who you are. You gotta know who you are before you jump into that bandwagon. You gotta know what you want out of that relationship.

4) I'm Not Missing You by Stacie Orrico

" But I must be going because I got life to do,"

Pretty sure lots of people has life to do. Your life ain't ending just because of a jerk/douchebag/a guy who's not worth your time. Go live your life.

You won't be missing him after some time. And you'll shout it (or maybe sing it at the top of your lungs, like Stacie Orrico) and boy, that should be so amazing.

5) Piece by Piece by Kelly Clarkson

I just gotta put this one here. It's not so much of a break up song, it's a love song, a beautiful one at that. But to me, the list of break up songs won't mean a thing if it doesn't have hope in there somewhere, and this song serves that purpose.

You'll find that person, the right one that would treat you with respect and love, and you'd feel the same for him too. Be sure of that.

Kelly Clarkson sang wholeheartedly how happy she is after all those bad times. You'll get through this too.

6) What Am I To You by Norah Jones

Norah Jones asked, if ever her skies should fall, would he even call?

Maybe you should ask that same question to yourself. Even when you'll love him when he's blue, you gotta know, what are you to him?

If the answer is nothing, then leave. Don't put yourself at a hanging rope.

7) Fuck You by Lily Allen

This is a great song when you wanna say you're an effing dickwit, can I say that pretty please with cherries on top?

Yup.

It's a good curse word too.

8) Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Buble

Another hopeful song. Gosh, you'll get there. You don't have to be rushing to be in a relationship. And getting your heart broken is completely normal, though it feels like your world is crushing upon you, and your duvet seems like a million stars just burning your soul with sadness and pain, trust me, it's completely normal.

That's life.

But life is also about the butterflies flying, and flowers being pretty and beautiful. So look at the bright side, he might be right next to you.

Well, the brighter side is, you have more time to focus on yourself. So chill.

9) Six Degrees of Separation by The Script

Can't believe I almost forgot this one. The Script's songs are always so on-point when you wanna drench yourself in sadness. But this one right here is very therapeutic. Because it's exactly that.

You gotta go through this yourself. There ain't no help. No matter people wanna help you, no one would be able to. You gotta be patient and let time do the healing.

Fair enough.

10) Mountains by Yuna

The guitar playing, everything was on point.

My head is tired just trying to hide my views,
When I keep trying my best just to keep you.

This song is about when you know things are wrong, but you're there, just keeping silent about it. You know the mountains are about to fall, but because you want things to be just like they are, you try to keep your blind faith that things are fine.

Well, we've all been in this denial state, haven't we?

Well, this is my take on my list of break up songs. Though, I do have lots more. Cool by Gwen Stefani, Fergie's Big Girls Don't Cry, Gwen Stefani's 4 In The Morning, James Bay's Let It Go.

For now, here's 10 of them.
